Wow. I woke up with my calves so stiff from yesterday's jumping pull-ups that I could barely walk. I chickened out today when I thought of doing 105 box jumps. Early rest day this week.

Ernie-I've had that same soreness from jumping pull ups. Try foam rolling, which will hurt like hell but help with the soreness.

WOD: 5 rounds in 15:45 with 35# kb, 45# bar, and stepping up on the 20" box. I actually stopped at 4 rounds for a minute but decided to keep going since Brad was still working.
That's my heaviest backsquat yet. Great workout today everyone! Thanks for keeping me motivated!

ReplyDeleteFor two weeks at the gym, at 100# backsquat wasn't too bad. Made it through three rounds of the WOD.
Thanks Halen! You were a great partner too! I wasn't feeling too great this morning so I went light on the weight. 26# kb swing, 35# cleans, and I did step ups on the 20'' box. My time was 17 something I think? Those cleans were tough! My back squat was 105#.
