I want to challenge everyone to post today.  Post your breakfast, lunch ,dinner and any snacking.  Dont leave anything out.  I want everyone to really stick with it this week, so this way you will be accountable.

    C. 19 rounds, 10 push-ups, 15 squats, 4 pull-ups, I missed the 20th round by one pull-up.
    D. bonus without holding the bar.
    Breakfast: Smoothie 24oz, eggs w/salsa, (smoothie: Almond milk, spinach, banana, coconut oil, Whey Protein powder, grapes, and blueberries)
    Snack: 1 hb egg, apple, pecans.

    I've been thinking a lot about HLW's comment about recognizing how we feel after we eat the junk food. If we can recognize that we are more grumpy, don't feel as strong, we're dragging, etc. Maybe we can convince ourselves to eat less of it until we really don't desire it at all. My top three temptations for today are banana bread, root beer, and Kneaders Orange rolls. I can resist...
    Water: 24oz today, need to catch up.

  2. No clean and jerk, but did hang cleans and push press (kinda) with 45# bar, up to 10.
    15 rounds (I think, maybe it was 16) with 5 pull ups and 10 push ups at the end.
    Bonus with bar.
    Breakfast: Smoothie (about 20 oz) made from strawberries, mango, 1/2 banana, spinach, blueberries, water, whey protein powder.
    Meant to have an egg but never got around to it!
    Snack: apple and almonds
    Lunch: Leftovers from last night's dinner--pulled pork (no bun) with homemade bbq sauce, brussels sprouts, asparagus.
    Water intake so far about 40 oz
    I would really love something sweet right now but I'll have a piece of gum instead (this is my typical strategy--it keeps me from stuffing other things in my mouth).

    I've decided my elusive kipping pull up is like a big foot sighting. I swear it happened, but there is no proof. I also think I quit too early on push ups and go to my knees when I should crank out a few more on my toes, even if it takes forever.

  3. Clean/Jerk - 75# - 7 rounds

    WOD - 15 rounds (+10 pushups+15 squats)

    Breakfast: scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, corned beef hash

    Snack/lunch: 1 banana, 1 small almond snickers bar, a pack of Saltine crackers and a nectarine.

    I have the rest of a bag of almond snickers bars sitting on my desk calling my name. We'll see how long I can ignore them. Each one comes complete with 1 gram of protein and 2% of the recommended daily amount of calcium. That makes them almost like vitamins, right?

    I was most happy that I could move to the green band for 3 rounds on the pull ups:-)
    B. Push-Jerks 45# bar 9 rounds
    C. No bonus today had to get home
    Water is at 50oz. By 2:00
    Food intake- let's be honest it's seem to always be too much right now but today I'm trying.

  5. I did 8 rounds of the clean and jerk 65#. I did 10 rounds +3 of the workout. It was my 1st workout doing pull ups without using the band. It wasn't pretty but I got through it.
    My eating today
    Breakfast: whey protein shake with frozen tropical fruit mixed in
    Snack:15 pistachios
    Lunch: chicken bowl at rumba grill
    Snack: nutella on whole wheat bread and a granola bar
    Dinner: Tacos (that is the plan anyway.

    I am just trying to count calories right now. I have been having a hard time getting going. Maybe I should write what I eat everyday to be more accountable. Great job today everyone. It was a hard workout today but we got through it.

  6. Breakfast, eggs and bacon, snack- apples dipped in almond butter, lunch spinach salad with chicken, bacon, walnuts and a balsamic vinegar dressing. Dinner will be chicken and brocolli stir fry.

  7. ok friends, I did the 10 rounds of the clean and jerk at 30lbs. I know that may seem light to almost all of you but heck! I am up from the 15 lb bar! WAHOO! I got 12 rounds in plus 5 pullups and 5 pushups, using the black band still.
    I started out the day awesome, then stress and power outages caused me to sin :)
    Breakfast: I had cottage cheese with cut up 1/2 peach with slivered almonds. Snack: rest of peach and string cheese with 2 almonds. Lunch: Left overs from last, taco salad-salad, taco meat, kidney beans, black beans,tomatoes, green onions, a little cheese, a little guacamole, and a little ranch.
    Snack: 4 slices of chicken luncheon meat, half tomato and 6 almonds (I was hungry:)
    This is where I could of done better,
    1 SMALL slice of cheese pizza and 1 TINY piece of crazy bread with some marina sauce AND a chicken caesar wrap from Wendy's.
    Not sure on the water, definitely need more.
    Praying tomorrow will be better :)

  8. Since my last posting I had about 1 cup butternut squash soup and raw sugar snap peas in the pod as a snack. For dinner salad with mixed greens, peppers, cucumbers, topped with the pulled pork. No dressing. Dark chocolate truffle. 50 additional oz of water since lunch. And supplements included fish oil, digestive enzymes, probiotics, and vit D.

    Brad wants me to post for him...
    Breakfast: 20 oz smoothie with blueberries, bananas, greek yogurt, agave nectar, skim milk, and whey protein. Flour tortilla
    Lunch: 1 C wild rice, 2 smoked sausages (large), apple, orange, 8oz yogurt
    Dinner: same salad as Heleen but added tomatoes and ranch.
    Brownies and milk
    Soda for the day: 12 oz Diet Coke, 32 oz Mountain Dew
    50 oz water.

  9. Dinner was potatoes, green beans, and little sausages.

    I'm getting the late night munchies, so I may have a few tortillas, yogurt, and/or Ovaltine before the nights out.

    This accountability definitely affected what I ate. I would have gulped down a lot more sugar than I did, if I didn't have to report it here today.

  10. I had the day off from work today. I usually eat pretty good at work but today that didn't happen. I will say I started my morning off with a protein shake and ended it with a salad. I think I finished 14 rounds of the WOD today.
