  1. Can I just share with everyone a portion of the email I recieved from our local school this morning regarding the upcoming Halloween carnival:
"Just a reminder that due to health concerns, we will not have a cake walk this year, but a Pop Walk instead. In keeping with our previous carnival tradition, our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students are invited to decorate a can of soda, a six pack or a 2-liter to be used in the carnival."
Really?!? No cake due to health concerns but bring soda instead. AWESOME!!

  3. Hey Heleen, you should decorate a can of water. Teach those sugar addicted kids a thing or two about health concerns....

  4. Good job, Joy.

I'm guessing that when they talk about health concerns with cake, they're not worried about sugar. They're probably referring to food preparation laws. (Home-made food is too scary for Halloween).

  5. I am guessing the health concerns were more related to what might happen after your Crossfit trainer found out that you ate the whole cake!!!!

At The risk of seeing what people will say...I would like to propose that we create a "cake" exercise as a Crossfit ANTS benchmark

    Thoughts?

  6. Have the feeling if they come up with a work out it would not be a "cake walk"
