  1. Thrusters: 45, 55, 65, 75, 75
WOD: 65# sumos for 2 rounds (very ugly), 45# for the remaining 8, 35# KB swings. Finished in 9:24. I want to go back and do it over again and take fewer breaths so I can beat Brad. He finished in 9:12.

Ernie...Where were you? I hope you post some results from a later class. Yeah, that's right. I just called somebody out on the blog!

    Thanks 6amers!

Everybody ready for a healthy weekend?! You can do it! If you are dying for something sweet try a 1/4 to 1/3 cup of frozen blueberries.

Spinach!! I like mine BARELY cooked or raw. Saute several handfuls in coconut oil, turning constantly, until it just barely starts to wilt. Immediately remove from pan. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Serve under chicken or other meats. OR add it to your protein smoothie. OR use it for salad greens.

  2. Yes. I slept in. So 9:12 is the time to beat, eh? I'll see if I can make it out tonight and embarrass you with my awe-inspiring results.

And if my results are less than awe-inspiring, then I'll just have to use my powers of vague forgetfulness when I post (e.g. "It's hard to remember, I think I got somewhere between 4 and 25 minutes").

  4. okay but lets get real about it... I probably should've used more weight. I came in at 6 min something? Loved the workout today though. I was craving kettle bell swings... they're a favorite! I'm not even gonna talk about what I've been eating this week.

I am making a paleo grocery list and looking up recipes for next week. One day at a time huh?

  6. Super sore and super tired from today's workout. Medicated with Carls Jrs double sausage egg biscuit (740 calories). But it gets worse: I used a two-for-one coupon.

  7. How are we a couple?

Megan--one day at a time is a great strategy! I'd love to hear how it goes for you this week.

  8. Wow B-Rad your really answered Heleen's question of "everybody ready for a healthy weekend?!"
Today's workout was great! I didn't have a ton of energy but I still pulled through. I really need to start remembering what my weight and times are so I can post them.
    Great job peeps!
