  1. Wow, I forgot how hard Pullups are. I've been slacking off on those for a while and came back and bit me today.

Front Squat: 215# - not sure if that is my pr, but it was heavy.

    WOD: 9:26 (44# KB, 24" Box)

I am proud to report that my 80% Paleo and 20% junk food is paying off. So far I am down 5 solid pounds. Not too bad.

  2. Good Job, Jer.

    Front Squat: 160#
    WOD: 8:14 (35# KB, 20" box)

I'll start eating better in an hour. I just need to finish up a few things from the vending machine. (I was looking for broccoli in there, but all they had were chips and cookies.)

  3. Great to be back after a week off.
Front squat was 130#, but I think someone should have shouted "NO REP" because I didn't squat low enough.
WOD: 7:57 with 35#kb and stepping on 20" box.

    Recipe: Egg Drop Soup
    4 Cups chicken stock
1/2 pound chicken tenders, cut into thin strips (or chicken breast cut the same way). Here's a dirty little secret: I have used canned chicken in this recipe. I know that canned chicken is not what our Paleo ancestors would have eaten, but for busy families that need dinner RIGHT NOW I think it's acceptable in a pinch.
2-3 cups chopped fresh or frozen vegetables (broccoli, carrots, green beans, peas)
    2 eggs, beaten
Bring chicken stock to boil. Add raw chicken and raw vegetables. Simmer rapidly for 5 minutes.
Pour eggs into the broth in a steady stream while stirring, eggs will cook but not clump together.
Garnish with green onions, add salt and pepper to taste.
