  1. It was a good class at 6 this morning. My buddy Brayden had a really good time. Thanks to everyone for being so welcoming to him.

We got there late this morning, so I didn't have a whole lot of time to devote to the power cleans. I maxed out at 145. I honestly wasn't trying too hard though.

As for Annie. She is one of the nicer girls. My time was 8:13 (ish..), maybe it was 8:30. There was an 8 and a 3 in there some where.

Here's my gourmet paleo recipe for the week:
You'll need a can of tuna (in water, not oil), a can-opener and a fork. Take the can-opener (do not use the fork for this step. It will not turn out well if you confuse those two tools) and open the can. Drain the water and eat the tuna with the fork. Be sure to stop when you get to the bottom of the can.

  3. For Paleo, that is a pretty good meal. I like the tuna in a pouch option as well. That way you don't have to worry about your kitchen smelling like tuna water all day.

  4. You fellas crack me up. I miss cf! Still feeling lousy, might be able to come tomorrow but at this point I am calling this week a loss. Boooo!!! Hissss!!

For a recipe I'm going to recommend fake fried rice. My kids loved it and didn't know they were eating cauliflower. Win!
3 T sesame or coconut oil
    1 white or yellow onion
3/4 lb meat (chicken, pork, shrimp, steak) cut into small pieces
4 T tamari (relative of soy sauce)
    1 garlic clove
1 small head cauliflower, grated in food processor
    2 eggs, beaten
1 cup frozen peas (some might say peas aren't the best choice for paleo and that's cool but as long as I'm not eating them every day I think it's okay. They are kosher in PB guidelines and zone)
    4 scallions, roughly chopped

Heat wok or skillet over high heat and add 1 T oil. Add onion and saute until it browns, about 2 minutes. Add the meat and 1 T tamari. Saute 2-3 minutes (or longer if needed to cook meat) then add remaining oil, garlic, and cauliflower. Saute 2-3 minutes. Add the eggs and remaining tamari. Stir constantly as egg cooks, then add peas and chopped scallions. Cook a few more minutes until peas are warmed through.
