  2. Ernie, way to push 5 rounds!!! I had every intention of doing 5 rounds, but for some reason, my body told me differently!

I scaled mine to 400 M run, 30 sit-ups and #135 deadlift (trying to be as cool as Sparky). I died at 19.32 after 3 rounds. Onward and upward.

FYI, Sparky, I am giving you until Halloween. If I don't fit into my Wolverine costume as I want to, I am going back to eating cheeseburgers at 11pm and working out playing Wii Sports Resort! :-)

  3. Wow! You are all my hero.
    I scaled to 3 rounds
    400 m run
    15 sit ups
    10 35lbs. Deadlift
    For 14:27- I think I would rather run a 1/2 marathon.
This is GREAT for me. Thanks for all the encouragement
    Clark & Amanda. ;-)

  5. That was fun and it was great to hang out and chat for a minute with everyone afterwards, of course I couldn't even sit up after that WoD so I was more or less forced to remain there until I had recovered a little.

Not looking forward to how my abs are going to feel tomorrow, but the WoD got done.

    Scaled: 5 rds ( 400m run, 30 GHDs, 15 135# DLs) 23:53

Also, thank you all for posting, it's like we get to continue celebrating the pain throughout the day.

  6. Sparky, You are such an optimist and a little of a sadist at the same time. I celebrate my pain by laughing, sneezing, standing up, sitting down, turning around, etc...... :-) but I love you, so I keep coming.

  7. I guess hiking at Snowbird right after today's WOD wasn't a fantastic idea...I am so sore! BUT, I am so glad to be back and working out with my favorite people in the world :-) I have to say, I am concerned that Marco wouldn't do this for me, but only for Clark...hmmmmmm....whatever works :-)
3 rounds in 13:21...I was happy with that but look forward to even better times and heavier deadlifts! See ya'll soon! (I have school tomorrow, but Wednesday night at 8:30 is a possibility...)Looking forward to it! :-)
    (Joy,I agree...the half-marathon was slightly easier...if that's possible!)
    Have a Great Week!!!
